This globe is the work of Anders Akerman (1721-1778), constructor of globes in Uppsala in Sweden.
On the cartridge is indicated: "Globus Coelestis / Catalogo Britannico / From Cailli observatio / nibus ad Annum P.C.N.1800 / Published by the Society of cosmography Uppsala / designed by Andrea Akerman / royal sculptor Uppsala, 1766 /
